Monarch Butterfly Project

In this project we'll examine raising and releasing Monarch Butterflies. You can do this project at home on your own, with a classroom, or via distance learning with our Learning at Home Monarch Host Kit.

Raising Monarch Butterflies

Did you know a Monarch caterpillar eats 200 times it's birth weight in just 2 weeks? In this video, we'll show you how we raise Monarch butterflies at Sager Family Farm.

Monarch Life Cycle Stages

In this video, we'll examine how a Monarch Butterfly goes from an egg, to a larva, to a pupa, and finally to an adult butterfly!

These worksheets will help you measure data about your Monarchs as well as help students solidify concepts.
