About the Course
In this activity, we’ll make seed balls filled with native, drought tolerant plants that pollinators love. We’ll talk about the different types of native plants and what pollinators they typically attract, including: honey bees, bumblebees, native solitary bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Mathematics Focus (3rd Grade+): Students will use math and science concepts such as measuring, radius, and diameter to come up with the most effective seed balls based on the planting depth and germination rates of their seeds.
