We keep a small number of hives in San Diego and cities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We do small harvests throughout the year, each location can have a unique flavor profile that changes throughout the season.

Honey Flavors
The flavor of the honey is influenced by the flowers blooming in the location of the hive for the months preceding the harvest date. Honey harvested at the same time in different locations can have very different flavors because of the available flowers. The same hive can actually produce different flavors at different times of year just because there are different flowers blooming!
