to our Channel for new classes.

Take a tour of our garden and see how many pollinators we can find! We'll also examine why pollinators like to visit us.

Topics Covered:

  • Tour of the gardens at our farm where we will search for and identify different pollinators.

  • What do pollinators need to survive? What attracts them to our garden?

  • How can I provide food, water, shelter, and safety for pollinators.

  • Pollinator Bingo activity - explore your community and look for pollinators and the things that make an area appealing to them.

Learning Goals:

  • Use observations to describe patterns of what plants and animals (including humans) need to survive.

  • How plants and animals (including humans) can change the environment to meet their needs.

  • All organisms have external parts. Different animals use their body parts in different ways to see, hear, grasp objects, protect themselves, move from place to place, and seek, find, and take in food, water and air.

  • There are many different kinds of living things in any area, and they exist in different places on land and in water.
